Our client is seeking a experienced SQL Server DBA to come in and make an instant impact.
A can do attitude is a must and also an attitude of collaboration is very much a requirement as this role requires someone to come in a work with the existing teams and help them improve their practices. This is a really exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Technical skills required.
- SQL server with very strong SQL query skills and performance tuning.
- Experience of SOLR/Lucene search in a high availability environment is advantageous
- Reporting: Knowledge of SQL Reporting Tools ideally SQL Reporting Services 2005/2008
- Databases: Strong SQL Server 2005/2008
- Knowledge of SQL Server replication/High Availability technologies
- Certifications in specific technologies preferred
