SQL Server DBA

For our customer in Zurich, for a 6 months contract, we are looking for a MS SQL DBA.

Scope of work:
- Supporting in the SQL/Sybase Team 1000 SQL instances with around 6000 SQL Databases in the Level 2 Team
- Responsibility for technical management and coordination of issues and projects primarily involving installation, configuration and on-going administration tasks of SQL Server databases
- Active participation in the resolution of system and performance issues

Required Skills:
- At least 10 years' experience and extensive knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server
- Very Good knowledge of Windows & SQL Server Clustering based on Windows Server 2003/2008 with of VERITAS clustering and volume manager
- SAN/NAS Storage
- troubleshooting, Performance management on SQL Databases
- German and English speaking

Ideal additional skills: - Knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server- Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services
