SQL Server DBA

Position Requirements:
* Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
* Technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting SQL Server
* Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience
* Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques
* Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Strong technical documentation skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards and products as required
* Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
* Highly self motivated and directed
* Keen attention to detail
* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
* Strong customer service orientation
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Detailed knowledge of SQL SERVER 2005 and SQL2008 (R2 is desirable)
* Ability to write Window scripts to support database maintenance
* Knowledge SSRS and SSIS is desirable

Education/Training/Certifications Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in computer-related field

* Windows SQL SERVER 2003, 2005, 2008 Certification

Work Experience Desired:
* 4-5 years of SQL SERVER database administration
