SQL SERVER DBA (.NET APPLICATIONS)

For one of Netherlands's largest financial clients, we are currently seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA with expertise in setting up databases and working with .NET Applications.

This will be a stable 12 months' contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Paying excellent rates (Possible extensions).

You will join an dynamic environment where you will get the space to speak up your vision.

THE IDEAL SQL SERVER DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- SQL server specialist (knowledgeable about MS SQL server 2012)
- Knowledge on how to implement an active- active pattern
- Ability to communicate with different stake holders.
- Is experienced in connecting .NET application to SQL databases.
- Setup an active - active pattern with SQL server databases in our DTAP environments
- Writing of all required documentation about this setup, including documentation for risk.
- Execution of tests that the active-active pattern meets the customers requirements.
- Consult and agree different parts of the organization for realizing this pattern.
- The engineer is able to communicate and provide guidance how to repair and check the databases after a major incident.
