SQL Server Database Administrator/Developer - Banking DBA - Brussels

A leading global Financial Institute requires an experienced Database Administrator/Developer with excellent knowledge of SQL Server. The role will require working within a team of DBAs and project teams to refine reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:
Administration of database Servers, supporting deployment of software applications, SQL tuning, performance monitoring and ongoing development and maintenance of an operational data store.

The role requires the following experience;

- MS SQL Server 2008 R2/2012
- SSRS, SSIS
- Windows Server 2008/2012
- Sharepoint knowledge, particularly the database interfaces
- Experienced developing SQL Server partitions, queries, stored procedures and triggers
- Ideally experience within a Financial organization, particularly the Back Office function

This opportunity will give the candidates good exposure to a variety of projects within Financial Services Back Office operations, particularly settlement, reconciliations and fund transfer. Projects will include a migration from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008/2012 - any prior experience with such a project would be highly beneficial. Multi lingual candidates would be ideal, however this is not essential.
