SQL Server Database Administrator

Projektbeschreibung
The contract is with a large European consultancy in Brussels to be on assignment in Stockholm. The client is currently seeking a SQL Server Database Administrator who would work on various projects on the customer site.
Tasks and Deliverables by the Consultant:
The consultant will be integrated in the Backoffice & Testing group of the ICT Infrastructure section and participate in the ICT projects of the operational units and carry out system testing and corresponding tasks, specifically:
- Maintain the database Servers, review the database setups and configurations and where possible find and propose areas for improvements.
- Create working procedures for the other team members.
- Discuss with the development teams and the other administrators how possible design changes can solve problems in future releases.
- Integration of new systems into the existing environment
- Ensure 2nd & 3rd line support for client and Extranet service users for the Back Office services
- Document the current environment and changes to it
- Identify the cause of problems, document, and develop an immediate, short-term, and/or long-term solution
- Submit weekly reports to document the work done.

- SQL Servers 2008-2012
- Scripting
