SQL Server Database Administrator

The database administrator is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a SQL database. Including writing database documentation, controlling access permissions and privileges and developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans. The employee must be able to perform installations, configurations, problem determination, tuning, upgrades and migrations for different versions of SQL. Some experience with move & upgrades to SQL v2008R2 and/or v2012 is a requirement. The candidate should also have some in-depth knowledge of MySQL. She/He should have excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, the ability to work quickly and to deadlines, willingness to work outside business hours. Initiative taking and teamplayer skills are a must. Good French/Dutch/Englisch language is a requirement.
