Role - SQL Server (BI & MI) Developer
Location - Manchester
Duration - 3-6 months
Rate - 250-295 p/d

A leading financial services company is currently seeking a SQL Server (MI/BI) Developer for an initial 3 month contract based in Manchester.

You will be responsible for:
- Identifying and refining data and reporting requirements from key stakeholders
- Develop reporting and OLAP
- Data design and modelling
- Validating scripts provided by other developers
- Contributing to a physical/logical data model
- Visualising and reporting data findings creatively in a variety of formats
- Data extraction from multiple sources for reporting purposes

The successful SQL Server (MI/BI) Developer will have strong experience of:
- SQL Server, SSRS & SSAS
- Microsoft reporting services over a relational database
- Database architecture
- Data mining, mapping, extraction, manipulation, cleansing and modelling
- Kimble Methodology

The ideal MI/BI developer will also have experience of:
- SSIS, Excel & Access
