EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: MUST possess a Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College, with MIS/Computer Science focuses/majors being HIGHLY-PREFERRED

W2/1099/C2C REQUIREMENTS: MUST be able to bill on a W2 basis.  NO 1099 or C2C options are available at this time.

ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking SQL Server 2005/2008 Developer for a Long-Term Consulting engagement in Montvale, NJ. The SQL Developer will design, develop, implement and support database objects such as, stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views etc., that meet business requirements.  Use T-SQL, SSIS, and SSAS under SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008.  The SQL Developer will perform software development, unit testing and debugging, which may include the development of new software, reuse of existing code, modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased solutions.  The SQL Developer will work with Business Analysts, other team members and clients to review the business requirements and translate them into database objects.  The SQL Developer will work with Database Administration, Systems Administration and Operations personnel to support the implementation of applications into production.  Additionally, the SQL Developer will receive general supervision from the project leader, and work independently through the phases of the software development life cycle.

- Performance Tuning/Optimization
- SSIS 2005/2008 - Integration Services
- Package Design/Development
- Scalable/Reusable ETL Components
- Complex Business Logic
- SSAS 2005/2008 - Analysis Services
- MDX Querying/Coding
- Cube Design/Development

PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

- SQL Server and/or Oracle Database Administration
