SQL/Java Developer, Capital Markets.

I am currently looking for an experienced Developer with relevant and recent knowledge of SQL/JAVA development within a Banking and Finance Industry or exposure to working within Capital Markets.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is for an initial period of 6 months with 6 month extensions thereafter.

You will be tasked with enhancing and providing 'fixes' to various pieces in the very large in-house-build MARS system.

The Implementation is done on an Oracle 11G platform which is written mainly in SQL and PL/SQL language - but JAVA language will used if more optimal.

The consultant MUST:
1.Be an experienced PL/SQL Oracle Developer with the ability to code in Java (Back End).
2.Ability to plan and drive (especially own work).
3.Good communication skills are ESSENTIAL
4.Posses optimization skills.
5.Good knowledge of datamodels and design of those.
6.Understanding Capital Market Risk.

You may also be expected to:

*Have the capability of participating in all phases of a project from analysis and design to development and test.
*Ability to transform business requirements into IT requirements and propose a design.
*Have knowledge about the capital markets area and financial products.

Please note this role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is an ENGLISH speaking position. You do not require Danish language skills.
