SQL Extract Developer/Report Writer

The Application Analyst works in a team environment developing detailed specifications outlining programming requirements. Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of information system solutions using development methodology. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains these programs.

Position Specific Skills Needed:
- SQL Management Studio (including Integration Services and SQL Server Agent) create, modify, troubleshoot SQL jobs. Import/Export ssis packages. Create, modify, read and understand stored procedures. Possible view and table creation.
- Visual Studio Business Intelligence to build, modify, troubleshoot SSIS packages. Be able to create flat files per vendor specs. Familiar with email alerts and use of expressions to create dynamic file names. Familiar with projects within Visual Studio.
- Crystal Reports create a report using a stored procedure from the SQL server

Other desirable skills for this position:

- Knowledge of BJC Cloverleaf/webtools
- Understand concept of TEST vs PROD environments
- Ability to communicate well with internal and external vendors both technical and non technical
- Familiar with Windows environment
- Troubleshooting thought process: be able to take an incident ticket and dig into Soarian application, SQL, crystal to troubleshoot report issues until resolution
