SQL Development Engineer

SQL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER REDMOND, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Our hugely popular client has a need for 2 solid SQL Developers to support, troubleshoot, and improve a large scale, near Real Time, reporting system.

NOTE: Routine DBA Maintenance tasks are already handled by a separate DBA support team.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

- Decent C#, .NET Framework skills
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server
- Very strong T-SQL skills
- Ability to analyze query plans
- Proficiency with using TFS to manage SQL Source Code
- Ability to debug job failures
- Ability to identify unneeded SQL dependencies and flag for removal
- AVAILABILITY FOR 24 X 7 ON CALL SUPPORT REQUIRED (2 people will need to share a weekly on-call rotation)

NICE TO HAVE:

- PowerShell skills
- Knowledge of Cosmos (internal big data warehouse solution)/Scope language
