LOCATION: Dallas, TX (near the Galleria Mall)
POSITION TYPE: 6M Contract (with possibility of extensions/conversion to Direct-Hire)

ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking (8) SQL Developers for Direct-Hire opportunities in Dallas, TX (near the Galleria Mall). The SQL Developers must possess STRONG hands-on experience writing T-SQL/Stored Procedures. The SQL Development will be connecting into a DB2 Interface and any SQL Developers who possess previous DB2-Style SQL and/or ANSI SQL experience, would be ideal but is not required. The SQL Developers should ideally come from Multi-Platform/Database Environments so that the Developer can identify the differences in each system (pros/cons) and create solutions.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in the following skill sets:
- SQL Development
- SQL Scripting/Querying
- Creating/Modifying Stored Procedures
- Query Performance Tuning/Optimization
- Joins/Functions/Triggers/Indexes/Tables, etc.
- DB2 Database Interfacing - DB2-Style SQL and/or ANSI SQL
PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
- AIX/UNIX Environment
- SAP Interfacing
