SQL Developer - Freelance

My client in Gent is urgently looking for a SQL Server Developer for a new project.

This is perfect for anyone looking for a real challenge and who works best in a challenging environment.

The ideal person will be comfortable working amongst experienced developers and will be willing to learn more within their field.

What they are NOT looking for is someone who's experience is mainly as a DBA.

DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES

- You assist in the development of E-commerce applications and synchro between different systems (eg. ERP, CRM, PIM, ...)
- You manage SQL Servers, both customers and internally.
- You contribute to the proactive management of SQL Servers.
- You work estimates for both new construction projects and for changes to applications and communicates this to the responsible project manager.
- You assist in functional and technical analysis.
- While projects are you able to keep your budget under control and respect deadlines.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor of Applied Science (A1) or have a diploma Informatics Management (A2)
- you have at least 3 years experience in a SQL Server environment
- Several Microsoft Certifications.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Transact-SQL is a must
- Knowledge of SSIS, Reporting Services, Service Broker and .NET are additional strengths.
- DUTCH IS A MUST

PROJECT DETAILS

- 3 month extendable contract
- Start 1st September (or earlier if flexible)
- Full time on site (no remote work available)
