SQL Developer Dublin Contract up to 18 Months

SQL Developer Dublin Contract up to 18 months. My client a global leader in their space is in urgent need of a talented and experienced SQL Developer to join them on a contract basis of up to 18 months.

My client is looking for a solid SQL Developer to come on board a project that is within the credit risk area, The application consists of a data warehouse, BI reporting and an UI portal. As an SQL Developer your main responsibilities will involve building out my clients reporting warehouse; Participating in daily scrums, backlog grooming meetings, and sprint planning meetings; work closely with business partners to understand and implement requirements.

Candidates will be proficient in SQL (especially Netezza or PostgreSQL); have experience of working with source code controls tools (especially SVN); experience with Agile/Scrum is desirable but not essential. Successful candidates will have ETL experience (especially Talend) desirable but not essential. BI (business intelligence) experience (especially MicroStrategy) desirable but not essential

My client preferred skill is Netezza, PostgreSQL is listed because Netezza syntax is based on PostgreSQL. Both are nice to have as a good SQL Server (Oracle, Teradata etc) programmer you will pick up Netezza quickly.
