SQL Developer

Our Client - a leading UK telecoms company - has released a contract job to us for an SQL developer. The purpose of the role is to assist in the development of feeds and data models for an ongoing project. You will be working alongside the existing in-house team providing support and assistance in the development areas.

The duties and responsibilities of the role are to work with the existing team to maintain and develop the current system, perform quality checks and Audit data and associated models, develop new SSIS and SSRS packages to specification and requirements, migrate existing data and systems to new repositories, create and maintain documentation for all undertakings, and to optimise and enhance current SQL databases and systems.

A suitable candidate will have the following skills; Experience in Microsoft SQL 2005 / 2008 server side development including BI stack (SSRS, SSIS),T-SQL - Stored Procedures, Triggers, UDF, Development Languages ( ASP, ASP.NET - VB.NET, C#, F# ) Data Modelling and Analysis, ideally you will have a basic understanding of SQL administration - privileges and access and Perl / Shell scripting experience.
