NET DEVELOPER | SQL | C# | DUBLIN, IRELAND

I'm currently looking for a .NET Developer who has proven experience with SQL & C# for a 6 month contract based in Dublin, Ireland.

DAILY TASKS:

- Work as part of a small team undertaking specific tasks assigned

Perform analysis and design of functional and technical requirements
Production of technical design documentation from functional specifications/business requirements
Complete application design, code, unit test and integration test tasks adhering to design/development standards within agreed time frames
Provide ROMs (Rough Order of Magnitude) for tasks allocated
Actively participate in design and code review sessions
Work independently to complete application development tasks
Be a quick learner with the ability to work under pressure
Organize work priorities and manage time effectively
Communicate progress and issues relating to tasks assigned to Development Lead

SKILLS NEEDED

- SQL Server 2005/2008 and 2012 design and development (18 months +)

T-SQL experience, (18 months +)
Application Development experience (18 months+)
Knowledge of C#/VB.NET and ASP.NET (18 months +)
Knowledge and experience of web UI technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)
Experience of analysis/design
Experience of OOA/OOD
Experience of working in a team environment
Self motivated and enthusiastic
Good organisational skills
Good communication skills
The following skills/qualifications would considered to be an advantage
Information Technology related qualification at diploma/degree level
Experience using SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience in using ETL tools
Knowledge and experience AJAX technology
Good understanding of SDLC methodology
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
Relevant Microsoft Certified Professional qualifications
Experience working on enterprise scale software development projects
Experience of VSS or other code versioning tools
