We are a looking for a strong SQL DBA to join our team for a contact opportunity in the Kennesaw area. This is an exciting role where you will support our users and developers in our 24 X 7 environment. You will monitor our database to make sure our Servers are at their peak performance. On a daily basis, you will be charged with troubleshooting errors, creating back-ups, deploying code, adding users, and maintaining over 2000 Servers for optimal efficiency.
You should have at least the following to qualify:
- 3+ years as a DBA supporting Microsoft Server Technologies
- 3+ years Experience with SQL Server 2005-2012
- 3+ years troubleshooting, monitoring, and tuning Servers for optimal performance.
- Strong experience with backup and recovery of databases, troubleshooting logs, and user and security management.
- Excellent communication skills.
