SQL DBA Architect Job

SQL DBA ARCHITECT needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Norristown PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The SQL DBA Architect is responsible for understanding the requirements of the business units and supporting the project and support teams by implementing technical systems based on those requirements.
- In support of that responsibility, the SQL DBA Architect will work with the project and support teams, as necessary, to ensure the technical solutions meet the business needs, and are developed and implemented with high quality.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with Microsoft SQL SSXS tools, especially SSIS (which represents a good portion of the role) and SSRS
- Understanding of Oracle & SQL Server database concepts and architecture (Golden Gate not required)
- Experience with Data modelling tools (Power Designer, Erwin, or similar tool)
- Tuning individual SQL queries, database applications, and optimizing databases for performance
- Working knowledge of software development and maintenance process and tools Soft skills
- Excellent communication/customer service skills.
- Ability to understand others and clearly express thoughts.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality deliverables
