eSynergy Solutions are currently hiring for a SQL DBA
Skills needed - SQL DBA:
-Work closely with Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist and Senior SQL DBA to design and implement IT SQL Infrastructure test and development solutions
-Work closely with Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist and Senior SQL DBA to implement IT SQL Infrastructure solutions
-Follow best practices when building, configuring, testing and deploying new IT SQL Infrastructure
-Review business requirements and translate into IT SQL Infrastructure deliverables
-Identifies, assesses and minimizes project risks to successful project completion
-Support and contribute to IT Infrastructure projects to deliver new and change activities into production
-Serve as solution delivery expert for the design & implementation of assigned areas
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of Position:
-Positive feedback from IT Infrastructure PM and other key project stakeholders
-Build, configure, test and deployment of key IT SQL Infrastructure Servers and related Services
-Early diagnosis of potential problems, risks and issues with escalation to IT Infrastructure PM
-SQL Infrastructure changes are implemented successfully. 5 - Positive feedback from the systems users Experience,
Skills and Competencies:
Essential
-Experience of implementing MS SQL 2008 Infrastructure projects in a Financial Services organisation
-Proven ability in designing, building, testing and implementing MS SQL 2008 Infrastructure solutions
-Ability to follow 'best practice' when designing, building and implementing MS SQL Infrastructure solutions
-Able to work with other IT technical specialist and PM resources in a team environment
-Experience with Windows Server 2003 and Server 2008, VMware and Citrix Advantageous
-Experience on a team working within an IT outsourced partner/relationship
-ITIL accreditation
-Knowledge or experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005
