For this contract position, you will assist a small team of SQL Developers who provide data analytics and manage SQL reporting services for our enterprise client's department of auditors and fraud investigators. This candidate will participate in the technology portion of audit projects and fraud investigations by:

- Collaborating with stakeholders to discuss requirements, timelines, scope, issues and status
- Researching, identifying and delivering appropriate data, reports and solutions during all phases of internal audit projects to enable data analysis by auditors and fraud investigators
- Managing certain administrative functions such as development, maintenance and troubleshooting of the audit databases, management of database permissions and documenting of key database processes and contacts
- Developing and maintaining functional and technical documentation
- Owning resolution of SQL database, SSRS report and MS Access query problems and quickly identifying the root causes of technical issues, ultimately driving timely remediation
- Developing positive and effective relationships with business partners in IT and Solutions Delivery to identify and access key data sources throughout the company
- Optimization of the existing SSRS reports and design and develop new SSRS reports based on BRD
- Optimization of the existing SSIS packages and develop a new SSIS packages for data loads
- Supporting existing tools and new development projects
- Database (T-SQL, stored procedures), reporting (SSRS and advanced Excel) and SSIS
- Ensuring data accuracy and reliability

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years work related experience required
- Proficiency with SQL BI stack Servers particularly SSIS/ETL and T-SQL
- SQL BI development skills - development and optimization of SSIS packages, T-SQL stored procedures
- MS Excel, PowerPivot, and SharePoint skills
- Experience developing reporting solutions
- Experience in data analysis, data modelling tools and/or design methodologies may be required
- Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Sybase, Oracle, and/or Informix and/or DB2 database programming may be required
- Must have experience with physical implementation of moderately complex logical database designs and relational database concepts
- Ability to collaborate and share information - team player who can be focused on executing to timelines, but also comfortable meeting with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and suggest solutions
- Ability to communicate with non-technical folks
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills required
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required
- Must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Experience with Internet technologies preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
