SQL Database Developer London Investment Banking

SQL Business Intelligence developer is required by my client within the investment banking space based in the heart ofLondon. As the SQL BI Developer you will be working within a very innovative team whose main focus is delivering quality solutions to the business, they have been given the task of developing a new data warehouse to provide unique reports to the rest of the business across all investment banking products. The reason that this niche SQL team is looking to expand is due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver cutting edge technologies/solutions to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong developer who has the ability to develop SQL including the business intelligence stack of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and MDX cubes and being able to develop unique dashboards and integrate them with SQL. As the SQL developer this role will require you to build out the new database system as well as liaise with different areas of the business on a daily basis. This is a 6 month rolling contract at market rates (There is also more than one role) Essential Skills * Investment Banking Knowledge is an Essential Skill for this role * Strong SQL Server data warehousing experience * Strong Business Intelligence knowledge with emphasis on SSAS MDX * SQL 2005 2008 * Proven experience in SSRS is essential. * Qlikview is advantagous * Candidates need to have an investment banking background For immediate consideration for this role please send an updated CV or alternatively call Kieran Bassan on 0207 398 3600.
