SQL DATABASE DEVELOPER needed for a 9 months CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop and maintain SSIS packages and SSRS reports to meet business needs. Perform logical and physical data modelling.
- SQL Database Developer Develop reliable and efficient database code to support enterprise reporting and applications.
- SQL Database Developer Maintain and enhance the existing database solutions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5+) years of experience with SSIS AND SSRS, DATA/PROCESS ANALYSIS AND MODELLING, LOGICAL AND PHYSICAL database
- ABILITY TO CREATE COMPLEX SSIS PACKAGES.
- Experience developing HIGH VOLUME ETL PROCESSES INVOLVING FLAT FILES (CSV, XML ETC).
- Understanding of pivot tables and self-service BI (PowerView, PowerPivot)
- Proficiency in one or more Scripting languages (VB.NET, C#, Powershell) preferred
- MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATION AND SSRS INTEGRATION.
- Experience with data warehousing.
- Exceptional data-access coding skills: T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views.
- EXPERT-LEVEL KNOWLEDGE OF DATABASE DESIGN, implementation, transaction processing, referential integrity, performance tuning and monitoring with an emphasis in MS SQL.
- Experience with developing and managing high availability solutions: replication, clustering, mirroring, log shipping.
