SQL Database Developer - Boston - Finance

Are you a SQL Developer looking for an opportunity in an environment with business critical data and complex database and data warehouse platforms?

My client, an international financial services firm, seeks a strong SQL Server Developer to join their team in central Boston to help develop and support their ETL processes, manipulating data that comes in from multiple data sources into their data warehouse, as well as heavy performance tuning of database queries. It is a large environment with terabytes of data so experience of a similar environment is expected.

The ability to be able to create complex queries, troubleshoot and identify performance issues by looking into the execution plan are just some of the tasks necessary for this role. The client are interested in both junior and senior professionals.

Experience with SQL 2005, 2008, R2 as well as strong T-SQL knowledge and ETL skills are necessary for this challenging role.
