SQL – C# – HTML5 – Database Developer – London – 3 Months Rolling – UR

My client, a leading global IT Managed Services Provider are looking for a Database Developer to come in and join their team. The current tool has several limitations including:

• Limitations to the volume of data storage

• Providing a painful experience for users when accessing data spreadsheets

• Requiring manual workarounds for more difficult websites to be scraped The Database Developer will be required to come in and develop the current tool by:

• Ensuring that it is possible to tightly control the scope of the database to ensure that the individual datasets do not become too large.

• Ensuring that all access data is available quickly and efficiently. The right candidate will have had exposure to:

• SQL Server Databases and stored procedures

• C#

• HTML5

• Active MQ Messaging

• JBoss/Tomcat Web server

• Use of web services

• Agile development methodology

• Working with developers to specify and build dataflows

• Scraping data from websites and collate from other sources to be stored in a database and readily available via spreadsheets and stored processes A distinct advantage can be gained by having previous exposure to or knowledge of Automation Anywhere, Java or Oracle. The candidate would be available for an immediate start (Early June) for a minimum term contract of 3 months with a view for extension. London - Minimum 3 Months - Market Rate - URGENT
