SQL Business Intelligence/ BI Developer -London - £35-40k

An experienced SQL Developer who has strong experience in the Microsoft Stack is required for a household name company in the Londonarea. The SQL / BI Developer must have good experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. The role involves working with the development team and business users to deliver, maintain, and expand data availability as well as enhance business intelligence solutions and reporting functionality.

The ideal candidate will be a combination of BI developer, ETL developer, and data analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing organisation.

Key Skills and Responsibilities of the SQL Business Intelligence Developer:

* Design, implement and maintain database and reporting solutions
* Contribute to the creation of technical design based on business requirements
* Identify and define development best practices and standards
* Documentation of all processes
* Support legacy processes and replace with improved solutions
* Automate manual processes where ever possible

Requirements of the SQL Business Intelligence Developer:

* Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
* Advanced knowledge of SQL including hands on experience with the MS BI Stack - SSRS / SSIS / SSAS
* Experience developing and maintaining data models and data dictionaries
* Proficiency dealing with ETL tools
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous issues
* Some experience working with object-oriented languages (desirable)
* Experience in the financial industry (desirable)
* Knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments (desirable)
