SQL BI SSIS Developer, 6 months Dublin
One of our IT clients is looking to hire the BI SQL Developer & Support contractor for their office in Dublin South.
The candidate must be available for a face to face interview in Dublin.
You will:
* (20%) Develop database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, including database object creation, query building and extensive use of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to connect to external data.
* (20%) Rapidly develop applications using Microsoft Excel, Access, and Quantrix Modeler, leveraging VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Groovy Scripting. Some C#/VB using Visual Studio may be required.
* (60%) Support existing applications by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
* The resource will be located in Dublin to assist with Global deployment and Support.
Skills required:
* Developing applications on the Back End using Microsoft SQL Server DBMS and SSIS
* Developing application interfaces in Microsoft Excel and Access, including the use of VBA for complex operations
* Working with rapid application development/agile life cycle methodologies
* Identifying and troubleshooting systems issues, and working with users and IT to resolve
