SQL BI Developer/Architect - 2 Openings - Start THIS WEEK

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is in urgent need for a Business Intelligence Architect to join the IT Department at their corporate office in Carrollton, TX.  

- The BI Architect sets Enterprise and projects technical direction and provides oversight and technical checkpoints to enforce Enterprise standards and quality of solutions as they pertain to information delivery out of the EDW environment. 
- The BI Architect is responsible for collaborating with our client's stakeholders to ensure the correct  processes are in place to deliver timely and accurate information into the EDW.  
- In partnership with Business Analytics Manager, the BI Architect sets the enterprise and project technical direction related to the EDW. 
- The BI Architect is responsible for ensuring the technical direction and architecture complies with guidelines and restrictions for our client's leveraged environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The BI Architect is responsible for defining and delivering the Information Delivery strategy, processes, and technology solution to support Business Intelligence information delivery with the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. The BI Architect will lead efforts to define and develop technical standards for data movement and transformation as well as review all designs to ensure those standards are met.

Lead day to day activities of ETL Developers

Responsible for preparing Status reports for Business Analytics Manager

Mentor BI Developers

Think outside of the box to come up with BI Solutions 

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors Degree in Business, Business Information Management, or Computer Science
- 3 to 8 years experience as an Architect for BI Development
- Any certification for a BI tool

3 - 6 YEARS PROFICIENT EXPERIENCE AS A DEVELOPER IN:

- Database (Oracle, Sql Server, DB2, Sybase)
- Two or more BI Tools (Business Objects, Cognos, SSRS, Hyperion, Tableau, QLikview,  Greenplum, 1010Data)

MUST DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE IN:

- Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence
- Data Architecture
