SQL BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) DEVELOPER

Required Skills & Experience:

- SQL Server 2005/2008 design and development (4+ years)
- Application Development experience (5+ years)
- T-SQL experience, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience (4+ years)
- Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- SAS Tabular Model and DAX
- Experience using PowerPivot and PowerView
- Experience on SharePoint Configuration and Support.
- Experience in using ETL tools
- Experience of analysis/design
- Good understanding of SDLC methodology
- Experience of working in a team environment
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Good organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- College degree in IT or equivalent

Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform analysis and design of functional and technical requirements
- Production of technical design documentation from functional specifications/business requirements
- Complete application design, code, unit test and integration test tasks adhering to design/development standards within agreed time frames
- Build and maintain reporting SQL Server data marts/SQL Server data warehouses which include tables, views, cubes and dimensions. Also includes supporting the ETL processes to the data marts.
- Design and build supporting framework for reporting utilizing Microsoft toolset: SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), PowerPivot, PowerView, SAS Tabular and DAX.
- Provide ROMs (Rough Order of Magnitude) for tasks allocated
- Actively participate in design and code review sessions
