SQA Engineer-Performance Tester

Are you a performance tester looking for a long term contract opportunity with a growing company in the Alpharetta area? If so, we have the job for you. We are looking for a strong performance tester with at least 5 years of experience testing .NET applications in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans using technical requirements and design specifications as input, analysing test results, performing data validation, tracking defects and providing regular status updates. The overall team is about 20 team members consisting of testers, developers and PM's. This is a business casual environment with flexible work hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5+ years' experience as a performance tester
- 5+ years' experience with testing .NET applications
- 5+ years testing experience with Software testing web, GUI, database and Client Server applications on multiple platforms
- 5+ years' experience with SQL query writing
- 5+ years' experience with Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g.
- Experience with MS SQL Server database concepts
- 5+ years' experience testing UI/Web Applications

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Knowledge of XML and SoapUI
- Knowledge of security protocols
- Knowledge of networking, RF and hardware devices
- Experience using Microsoft team Foundation Server
- Experience with integration and API testing
- Knowledge of programming languages specifically C, C++, C#, .NET, Java, J2EE and WebLogic
- Ability to work with offshore team members
