SPV MO Assistant

Title: SPV MO Associate Based in London//Contract Role//£280-£330 per day The Banks trading desks are some of the busiest and most innovative in the market, and are continually looking for ways of expanding their business, using the SPV platform to market established products to investors. The SPV Middle Office has been created to support this growing business and to improve the Middle Office control function. SPV Middle Office support model offers many benefits including: a more consistent control framework, a consolidated view of all SPV's across global markets, an opportunity to streamline and re-engineer the Middle Office process, specialisation of SPV control, and a single point of contact for all Middle Office SPV queries. This role combines BAU responsibilities with the need for Change Management (standardization and process re-engineering). It will require a strong candidate with cross asset class experience in a Middle Office role. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Overall: Oversight for all SPVs irrespective of asset class, clearing location or entity involved * Settlement of SPV Note and Charged Asset with IPA / Custodian Bank * Ensure accurate capture of life-cycle events and oversight associated settlement * Corporate action notification both on SPV note and collateral to the business, and coordinate subsequent action * Investigate ad-hoc queries from note holder/business/issuer paying agents relating to SPV notes * Review proposed new SPV and provide SPV Middle Office approval * SPV note rate fixing notification to relevant counterparts * Arrange swap cashflow settlement as Swap Counterparty and investigate/resolve associated cash breaks in a timely manner * Weekly and monthly SPV Cash Account reconciliation * Ensure accurate capture of SPV data into SPV database * Ensure accurate capture of SPV population * Production of SPV monthly reports * Support Audit / regulatory reporting for SPVs in scope
