For one of our prestigious client, we are urgently looking for a Splunk developer.

Technical skills:

KEY KILLS:

-Good experience with SPLUNK, at least 3 years
- Strong web development background, specifically HTML5, JavaScript (backbone.js), D3 chats
- Good understanding of SPLUNK WEB FRAMEWORK AND JSCHART ENGINE. Implemented charts using custom JavaScript and CSS to accomplish visualizations that are not supported by Splunk's standard JSchart engine.
- Experienced in using advanced splunk search language
- Good understanding of SPLUNK ARCHITECTURE COMPONENTS: distributed search, macro, eventtypes, summary indexes, accelerated search, lookup files,
- Experienced in using and managing linux environment
- Background in Object Oriented software development (any language), good understanding of typical SLDC components

The consultant will be part of the detection, report and visualization team, specifically focusing on using splunk to report, visualize and alert on relevant data operational security. To make the data understandable and digestible to end-users and support teams you will rely primarily on modern web components available in the splunk web framework.

To be successful in this freelance role you need to have a STRONG WEB DEVELOPMENT BACKGROUND, specifically HTML5, JavaScript (backbone.js), D3 charts,... On top you have a good understanding of splunk web framework and JSChart engine. Implemented charts using custom JavaScript and CSS to accomplish visualizations that are not supported by Splunk's standard JSchart engine. Moreover you are experienced in splunk search language, splunk architecture components and you are experienced in managing a linux environment.Also you have a background in Object Oriented software development (any languages).
