For my client in oil and gas industry I'm looking for a Splunk administrator.

Splunk Administrator
Required skills

-

Experience with building out and administering a distributed Splunk environment

Infrastructure knowledge: linux environments and general networking infrastructure

Teamwork experience with source control systems

Preferred

Experience with working in a DevOps team

Experience with working on AWS

Besides the technical skills candidates need to have the following soft-skills:

Ability to work virtually in a diverse global organization and with major outsourced suppliers of infrastructure and application services

Demonstrable track record of successful delivery; rigorously managing scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters

Focused and versatile team player who is capable of delivering under pressure

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both oral/written in English) with ability to communicate at various levels with clarity/precision

Working according to SCRUM principles, e.g. bi-weekly iterations and daily standups.

Need to speak and write fluent Dutch and English and based in the Netherlands as he will work in The Hague and/or Rijswijk
