Spend Manager - London - 3-6 months - £350-450/day/Ltd

My client is a leading international consultancy who has a high reputation in providing technology and outsourcing services. Currently, they have an exciting opportunity for a Spend Manager to join them on a contract basis for 3-6 months out of their London offices.

PLEASE NOTE, their is extensive travel involved in this role which includes time in Sweden, Germany and Preston in the UK. Other locations may include Spain, Belgium and France.

Ultimately, the role requires the Spend Manager to ensure customer satisfaction, utilisation, time tracking and methodology objectives are met.

Duties:

+ Ensure the Category Management Methodology is applied efficiently for sourcing projects
+ Develop opportunities that demonstrates value to the client - increase in savings percentage from the previous year
+ Manage the Stakeholders for your assigned categories - IT, Facilities, MRO, Travel
+ Support pipeline building - increase number of planned projects in the pipeline compared to the previous year
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiative
+ Request and receive positive feedback from Senior Leadership and/or client twice per quarter
+ Setting and meeting key completion target dates for sourcing projects - include external factors such as approvals
+ Completion of internal and external reporting requirements accurately and on time
+ Attend community meetings and team events
+ Mentor new members when required
