Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) - Birmingham (Part Time)

Service Care Health working alongside a large NHS Trust in the Birmingham area have an urgent requirement for a Speech and Language Therapist within an neurological inpatients unit.

You will be expected to manage your own case load of patients suffering from neurological conditions including stroke, cerebral palsy, cerebral ataxia and multiple sclerosis. You must have previous experience managing a caseload of patients who have experienced neurological conditions, training in dysphagia and dysarthria would be of an advantage. The SLT must have also completed their NQT competences.

The SLT will hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, supported by at least 12 months post qualification experience, and be registered with the HCPC and preferably with RCSLT. The candidate will be expected to show their commitment to their own clinical professional development (CPD) by keeping up to date with new trends and developments in their area of work.
