Our Client based in the West Midlands is seeking to appoint 2 Specialty doctors in Accident and Emergency Medicine.
The term of contract will be initially for 12 months, with a view to moving into a permanent post at the end of contract. The posts attract 10 Pas.
The successful applicants will join their A&E colleagues in working in a department that has a large resuscitation room fully equipped with up-to-date resuscitation and monitoring equipment. Imaging facilities include overhead x-ray in the resuscitation room, the PACS system for viewing images and a portable ultrasound. The department also works closely with the Clinical Decisions Unit, which currently treats 48,000 patients per year.
To be considered for this post you must hold Full Registration with GMC, certification with at least 2 of ATLS, ALS and EPLS (or their equivalents), have previous experience within A&E.
