Specialist Registrar in General Surgery - East Anglia - 3 Month Post

AWARD WINNING AGENCY Medilink Consulting are currently recruiting on behalf of a Large NHS Trust in East Anglia for a Specialist Registrar in General Surgery.

Hourly Rate: £50 - £60 per hour

Report to: Lead Clinician

Location: East Anglia

Job Title: Specialist Registrar General Surgery.

Hours: Full shift rota.

Duties: Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist general surgery services for outpatients and on the wards. To work flexibly with the Surgical Consultants to ensure cover for outpatient clinics and Colorectal operating lists.

Play a full part in the provision of surgical services, including scheduled out-of-hours' work including the option of resident on-call duties on a rota basis with colleagues.

Be involved in the development and planning of surgical services within the Trust.

Undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients.

Participate in audit examining activity, quality and cost of the surgical service. Participate regularly in medical management and audit meetings.

Job Requirements: Full GMC with a license to practice and entry onto the GP register.
