Specialist Physiotherapist (Band 7)

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist Band 7 with a minimum of 5 years post graduate UK based experience for this locum position which is located in Epsom, Surrey.

The Physiotherapist must present transferable clinical and non clinical skills and be able to contribute to the running and development of the Lower Limbs Team and be able to work an adaptable and flexible approach to manage a varied caseload of patients presenting with complex physical (including amputees) and psychological conditions at various stages of rehabilitation. You should be able to autonomous in managing their own caseload and be able to work effectively as part of the MDT.

You must have:
- A recognised degree/diploma in Physiotherapy
- Previously held a position as a Physiotherapist Band 7
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Registration with the Health Professionals Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- A broad clinical background treating a variety of conditions, with experience working in Musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics and rehabilitation

Desirable:
- Previous experience of working with the MOD
- Previous experience in the use of Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMCP)
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
- Clinically advantageous skills would be: Burns/plastics and trauma, Biomechanics, Prosthetics, Peripheral nerve injuries, Spinal conditions, Lower Limb conditions, Upper Limb injuries
