Specialist Neuro Speech Therapist Job London

Mediplacements are looking for a Speech Therapist, specialising in Specialist Neuro to cover a vacancy for a client of ours based in the London.

This locum position is immediately available, and will require a motivated and enthusiastic Speech Therapist to hit the ground running with a busy NHS caseload. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with previous Specialist Neuro experience and will have excellent skills in the assessment, diagnostic and Specialist Neuro treatment.

Position: Speech and Language Therapist
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2 Months with possible extension
*Monday to Thursday
*28 hours per week, working 9am-4:30pm.
*Have a minimum of 2 years experience including working with adults who have dysphagia and cognitive communication impairments due to a neurological disorders (especially stroke)
*RIO training can be provided.
*Needs to hold a valid drivers UK licence.
*own means of transport (though access to pool cars are available).
*2 years experience including working with adults who have dysphagia and cognitive communication impairments due to a neurological disorders (especially stroke).
*Prefer candidate to have membership with a special interest groups (eg acquired dysphagia, stroke communication network)
