SPECIALIST, HR COUNTRY MANAGEMENT

Our client is looking for a specialist HR country management professional for a leading telecoms operator to provide additional support for the HR Management of Austria, Switzerland and other CER countries.

The main responsibilities would be to act in support of and/or assisting with implementation of daily HR matters.

As well as:

1.Supports staff responsible for planning, policy development, and administrative matters for human resources.

Assists in the development, implementation, or administration of human resources plans, policies, and programs.

Establishes and maintains records, logs, and filing.

Prepares documents and presentations.

2.Assists in the implementation of policies and collective agreements for employees in all business units.

Identifies issues and appropriate responses, administers grievance and arbitration procedures

Provides advice, counsel, and training to client groups.

Knowledge of and ability to counsel employees on a variety of issues related to the working environment.

Knowledge of effective influencing tactics; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

3.Working knowledge of EU Employment legislation in Switzerland and Austria (key) and Central European countries (superficial knowledge)

Ability to advise on laws and regulations affecting HR practices.

Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

The right candidate will need to have:

- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities
- Making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Holds self and others accountable for accomplishing results.
- Knowledge of major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the Human Resources function
- Ability to use and effectively administrate the organization's HR policies, strategies and environment.
- Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to apply this understanding appropriately to diverse situations.
- Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee and employer relationship and ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
