Specialist CAMHS Practitioner - Chanel Islands

Our client has a job vacancy for a Specialist CAMHS Practitioner to work within the Chanel Islands. This position has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 26-30 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties -
- To assess the needs of children, adolescents and their families, either individually or along with other members of the team.
- To contribute to multi-agency assessment processes, where these children are already known to CAMH Service.
- To provide a range of interventions for those who are referred, by putting into action agreed treatment objectives, either jointly with other multi disciplinary team members, individually, or with professionals from other agencies, in order to help towards personal and/or inter-personal changes. This may include direct work with children, young people, parents/carers and others.
- To provide consultation and support to other agencies and to ensure effective communication between the Child, Adolescent and Mental Health Service and other providers of services in order to ensure a consistent and co-ordinated response to young people with Mental Health needs.

Requirements -
- All applicants must have a RMN first level registration, valid NMC pin.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
