Electrical power generation client is currently seeking a Human Performance Coordinator / Coach at the McGuire Nuclear Station in Huntersville, NC. This is a one year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Works with the Site Major Projects General manager to champion human performance prevention, by providing a human performance conscience, both in management forums and in the field
- Interfaces with the leadership team to recommend proactive Human Performance initiatives based on industry data, benchmarking, and operating experience
- A priority will be placed on in field coaching time (approximately 50%) by the Human Performance Coach to ensure that fundamental standards are being implemented
- Maintains oversight of the Human Performance training program by coordinating Human Error Reduction training for site individual contributors and supervisors

REQUIREMENTS

- Required: Experience in human performance, preferably nuclear
- Good understanding of human behaviors, organizational and program experience
- Desirable: Degree in industrial engineering or behavioral science
