The Headteacher & Governors at my client Primary School, located in Great Barr, Birmingham are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 2 child with attachment & learning difficulties.

My client is a 'Good' Ofsted 2011 Primary School, dedicated to providing an outstanding level of education for all of their pupils.

The school are looking to appoint a 1st or 2.1 Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant, on a full time, long term basis with immediate affect, until August 2013. The successful Teaching Assistant would ideally have experienced in working with children/young adults with Special Needs on a 1:1 basis whilst also being passionate about children's learning and wellbeing.

As a Teaching Assistant you will also need to be an inspirational, dedicated and highly effective TA, who is committed to raising learning standards, be highly motivated and able to lead and work as part of a team, whilst also committed to working in partnership with governors and parents.

Once successful, you will be predominately providing 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with attachment & learning difficulties throughout the majority of the week, whilst also working as a general Teaching Assistant during the remainder of the week (2 hours per day).
