Speaking French & Dutch Network Security Architect

Proteus Europe is searching for an Infrastructure Architect speaking Dutch and French available to work in a project based in Brussels.

Your New role:-

Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Architect with focus on Network and Network security.
As an architect you contribute to the network of the future of the company. You translate the business needs in terms of network and network security into functional and technical needs and determine the standards, services, roadmap and life cycle. You work closely with the partners who make the detailed design and implement and support the solution.
In addition, as Solution Architect you are responsible for delivering the Infrastructure Architecture for projects. For this you make a translation of the requirements and give the solution form within the framework of the architectural standards, keeping accounts with the security requirements. You provide the necessary support to the project for a smooth handover to production. You ensure the coherence of the new architecture and you ensure consultation with the Subject Matter Experts in the technical teams. You provide the High Level Infrastructure Architecture document and the accompanying diagrams and ensure that the detailed designs are delivered by the technical teams. During the roll-out phase you work closely with the service providers and project manager and you give him advice about the tasks to be performed in relation to the choices made within the architecture and design.

The fulfillment of your role has an important influence on the satisfaction of both customers and employees and on securing the data and information of NMBS

- Experience with Enterprise network and network security
- Experience with LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, MPLS, VRF, SDN, routing and switching.- -Experience with endpoint security, NAC ...
- Experience with determining and elaborating network zoning (LAN, WAN, DC)
- Experience with translating functional needs into Infrastructure architecture.
- Experience with on-premise and cloud Infrastructure architecture
- Experience with load balancing, reverse and forward proxies, Firewalling, ...
