Speaking Dutch and French Endpoint Systems Engineer

Proteus Europe is searching for a System Engineer Endpoint speaking French and Dutch available to work in a short term contract for one of our clients in Belgium.

Your New role:-

Provide its own technical specialization for the technical development, planning and maintenance of the endpoint infrastructure to ensure continuity and efficiency of the endpoint infrastructure that meets the needs of the SNCB organization, including its affiliates.

Dimensions (5 key qualitative and quantitative data):

1. Has a direct impact on the performance and availability of IT systems where the end user (= NMBS user and the company user and NMBS customer) works with it
2. Monitoring and follow-up of the systems and tickets
3. Enhancing security through security patches, correct asset management,

Result areas

1. Management of the endpoint infrastructure.
- Evaluate all endpoint infrastructure (Asset Mngt, Software Distribution, Security, Patch Mangement, Remote Control, Mobile Devices, Printers, MFPs, ...) environments to define upgrades, changes and extensions, and bring forward improvements.
- Perform feasibility studies and evaluate various software and hardware solutions that can meet the needs of the infrastructure so that management can choose the most optimal solution.
- Inform, assist the company infrastructure users to ensure that systems are used optimally and efficiently
- Design of technical design in line with specific architectural requirements. Perform changes, upgrades, and extensions to soft and hardware to always have technologies and capabilities that best match user needs, to realize new projects or expand existing systems.
- Provide the necessary support and provide maintenance on the B-IT infrastructure in accordance with ITIL methodology

2. Advise
- Provide technical advice and information to internal and external customers to allow them to make a correct estimate of the technical capabilities and limitations and this (B-IT) technology stack used
- Critically reflect on possible improvements in procedures and procedures within projects and within the department

3. Knowledge management
To actively maintain their own knowledge and exchange of this knowledge and experience in their own field (technically) to the other colleagues

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
Informational Knowledge - Infrastructure Stack (OS, imaging, deployment, Scripting and management toolset) based on Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android and IOS technologies
- Anti-Virus Management (Based on IBM/TrendMicro)
- Patching Management (Based on WSUS/IBM)
- Mobile device management: Maas360
- Network: Basic knowledge TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP
- Asset management based on ITIL methodology and IBM Control desk as a tool

Other Knowledge - Service Management (ITIL minded)
Specific competences - Analyze: Makes complex and in-depth analyzes

- Communicate: Communicates smoothly and focuses on the recipient of the message
