The Mere Resort are looking for individuals with a passion for hospitality, who can help deliver the professional and consistent service that The Mere Resort is renowned for. We are currently recruiting for individuals to join our Food & Beverage team, and take responsibility for our Spa Lounge. Set in our state of the art Health Club, and luxurious 5 bubble spa, Our Spa Lounge provides the perfect environment for relaxation! The ideal candidate needs to have the ability and initiative to work alone, and the charm to engage with all our guests and members to make each individual experience unique and world class.
The Role
* To serve all food and beverage to the guest in accordance to the brand SOPs.
* Clear and set tables as required.
* Ensure that all daily tasks are completed within time guidelines to ensure that all company business requirements are met and recorded in the correct manner.
* To maintain a good working knowledge of all the menu within the department i.e. Breakfast, evening, wine & bar menus.
* Ensure food and wine product knowledge is up to date and to use this knowledge to upsell at every opportunity.
* To ensure that the Spa Lounge is set up and broken down to the correct company standards at all times.
* Take orders for both food and drink, and ensure all documentation and transactions are recorded accurately.
* Take payments and ensure all monies handled are reconciled at the end of the shift.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working within the Food & Beverage Industry is preferred, however we will accept applicants from those looking to make the first steps in their career.
* A passion for the hospitality industry
* Knowledge & understanding of customer service
* Strong communication skills
