DETAILS

Service Provider Video Engineer is required to support major accounts in the Netherlands and must be based out of Belgium to be able to have access to test equipment and work with peers from team.

This is a Support activity or 12 months with frequent on-site presence is required.

The engineer will have leading role for all work to be performed in the account.

KEY ACTIVITIES

-On customer site, testing & troubleshooting. Focussed on Cisco cable & video/set top box technology o
- The focus will be largely testing and troubleshooting of CPEs in a Cisco DOCSIS/cable modem and Set top box environment.

KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Most important is working knowledge of Cisco DOCSIS/cable modem, but need to be able to pick up Set top box knowledge quickly.

Will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Lab testing (New configuration testing, issue validation and new fix/workaround testing, help the new image certification tests, collect the information/data for the business unit, support with the CPE related activities (like CMTS related issues)
