SOX Compliance Manager- PPI

SOX Compliance Manager required for our leading banking client in London. Must have excellent communication skills, proven senior and overseas stakeholder management and confident.

Responsibilities:
The SOX Compliance Manager is the primary point of contact for SOX matters for PPI.

The Manager is responsible for supporting and advising on SOX matters effecting process, risks and controls and will need to engage with process owners and control owners, as well as the FC/FD and Operational Risk & Governance colleagues.

Role:
You will be delivering a number of regulatory and business focused projects including:

*Design Effectiveness Testing
*Previous SOX experience essential
*Operational Effectiveness Testing
*Management and remediation of any open issues
*Management of risks, controls and issues on OPUS
*Review of general controls and governance and engaging with key stakeholders and chairing regular meetings to review control activities
*Business Continuity management
*General Computer Controls around Calculators and engagement with the roll out of the industrial calculators
*To support all other projects eg Payments, S.17, OPUS tool etc
*approach tasks in a project based manner
*engage with stakeholders at all levels
*negotiate the delivery of all requirements in a timely and professional manner
*understand of end to end processes
*clear understanding of risk and controls within end to end processes
