SOURCING & PURCHASING MANAGER (ENGLISH/GERMAN) - MEDICAL DEVICE
On behalf of our client, an international worldwide well-known company specialized in medical devices based in Solothurn area, we are looking for a Sourcing & Purchasing Manager with SUPPLY CHAIN EXPERIENCE. It is a contracting position starting from OCTOBER until END OF MARCH 2016.
In this position, the SOURCING & PURCHASING MANAGER will be responsible for assisting internal customers with material and process selection for purchases ie you will be supporting them in locating and selecting suppliers for purchases per category strategies, negotiating prices, creating contracts for strategic suppliers etc.
In this role you will also keep up with supply market trends and best practice sourcing, ensure training and compliance, establish close working relationships with other departments (eg engineering, operation, marketing, quality) in order to ensure the full understanding and support strategic sourcing perspective to key process.
YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:
- Strong experience in SUPPLY CHAIN, Purchasing procedures, Supplier manufacturing process etc. within the MEDICAL DEVICES sector
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in logistics, business administration, operations or equivalent MBA APICS (American Production & Inventory Control) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager)
- Strong experience in problem - solving and a good customer focus ability
- ENGLISH AND GERMAN BOTH FLUENT
