I have an excellent opportunity to work for one of the worlds most innovative and recognisable organisations as a Sourcing Manager (Logistics, APICS, CPM, German, Supply Chain) to cover maternity cover.

Please note I can only accept candidates with German language skills and an EU 25 passport due to the work permit regulations for Switzerland.

Job overview:

The Sourcing Specialist will support category development, sourcing of components and supplier relationship management for the metals, electronics and packaging categories.The Sourcing Specialist will assist customers with material and process selection for purchases, assist customers in locating and selecting suppliers for purchases per category strategies, negotiate prices, develop and administer contracts for strategic suppliers, develop strategic suppliers, develop and improve large spend category strategies and major business processes such as business continuity and supplier selection to deliver annual improvements in total cost, quality and service, and support sites as needed.

Job requirements:

- Fluent English and Fluent German
- Associate's degree in logistics, business administration, operations or equivalent experience MBA preferred APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification preferred
- Purchasing procedures, Supplier manufacturing processes, Production systems, Receiving and inspection procedures, Database management
